# Mighty Accounting > Mighty is a fixed-fee online accountant for UK limited companies, from £60 + VAT per month. One plan covers year-end accounts, the company (corporation) tax return, VAT returns, payroll and dividends, tax planning and advice, bookkeeping software with bank feeds, and a dedicated accountant. Built for contractors, freelancers, consultants and small agencies. Mighty keeps fees low because it runs on its own accounting platform instead of the stack of separate bookkeeping, payroll, accounts production and practice-management tools that traditional firms pay for and pass on to clients. Mighty is a fixed-fee online accountant for UK limited companies. The Mighty Plan costs £60 + VAT per month billed annually (£720 + VAT a year), or £70 + VAT per month billed monthly. That one fee covers your end of year accounts, company tax return, VAT returns, payroll and dividends, tax planning and advice, a dedicated accountant, and our bookkeeping software with bank feeds, invoicing and receipt capture. ### Why is Mighty so cheap? Mighty is able to offer a very affordable accountancy service because of the software we have built specifically for freelancers, contractors, and small agencies. Traditional accountancy firms rely on a stack of separate tools for bookkeeping, payroll, accounts production, corporation tax, practice management, CRMs, and more. All of that software costs money, and those costs ultimately get passed on to clients. At Mighty, our platform replaces much of that setup. By removing a large chunk of those overheads, we can keep our fees lower without compromising on quality. And while our pricing is cheap, we don’t cut corners on service. Every client has a dedicated accountant they can speak to whenever they need support. ### Who is Mighty for? Mighty is built for UK limited companies run by freelancers, contractors, consultants, fractional CFOs, CMOs and CTOs, small agencies, and creatives and developers. ### Do I get a dedicated accountant? How does this work? Yes. While we have a wider support team, every client is assigned a dedicated accountant as their main point of contact. You can email your accountant whenever you have questions, and if it’s easier to talk things through, they will share a link to their calendar so you can book a call at a time that suits you. ### Do you charge extra for VAT returns or payroll? No. VAT returns, payroll for directors and a spouse, dividends, end of year accounts and your company tax return are all included in the Mighty Plan. The only extras are personal Self Assessment returns, a registered address, and payroll for additional non-spouse employees (£5 + VAT per month each). ### Are there any additional fees? Self Assessment (£125 + VAT per tax return): What is it? This is your personal tax return which is due by 31st January following each tax year. This is separate from your company tax return. We also offer discounts where multiple tax returns are required (e.g. for spouses and two director companies). Registered Address & Mail Scanning (£100 + VAT per annum): What is it? A registered address protects your privacy by ensuring your home address does not appear publicly on Companies House, and provides same day scanning of your post. For this, we have partnered with Hoxton Mix to provide this service which would otherwise cost £228 + VAT per annum if you were to go direct. Additional (Non-Spouse) Employees (£5 + VAT per month): What is it? If you're moving from the freelancer to agency mould and hiring an employee, we've got you covered for only £5 + VAT per month to process the payroll. If you want to employ a spouse, don't worry, there's no additional fees for this. ### Are you suitable for businesses with employees? Yes. Many of our clients employ a spouse, and we also support small agencies with one to three employees. For larger teams, there may be other solutions that are better suited. That said, please feel free to get in touch and we'll be happy to chat through your setup and confirm whether Mighty is the right fit, and make a recommendation if not. ## Guides and articles - [IR35 Explained: The Complete Guide for UK Contractors (2026)](https://mightyaccounting.com/Blog/Post/ir35-guide-2026): A plain-English reference guide for contractors - [Companies House Changes Announced: P&L Accounts & Software-Only Filing](https://mightyaccounting.com/Blog/Post/companies-house-) - [Rachel Reeves Announces Mileage Rate Increase to 55p Per Mile](https://mightyaccounting.com/Blog/Post/new-mileage-rates) - [How To Save Tax By Buying A Bike Through Your Business](https://mightyaccounting.com/Blog/Post/buying-a-bike-through-your-business): You could save thousands in tax buying a bike through your company - [What's the difference between Zero-Rated, Exempt, and Out of Scope VAT charges?](https://mightyaccounting.com/Blog/Post/zero-exempt-out-of-scope-vat): A simple no-nonsense explanation of the differences in VAT classification - [Save Tax By Expensing Workplace Parking Through Your Business.](https://mightyaccounting.com/Blog/Post/uk-workplace-parking-tax-benefits-freelancers-directors): A Complete Guide To Expensing Parking For UK Company Directors - [How to pay yourself as a limited company director](https://mightyaccounting.com/Blog/Post/how-to-pay-yourself-as-a-limited-company-director): Using dividends and payroll to minimise your tax and maximise your money - [What Are Payments on Account?
